Inspired by the ancient story of the Lost Pleiad, these handmade statement earrings explore themes of wandering, transformation, and the enduring search for light. Rather than illustrating the myth directly, the design draws from its atmosphere through asymmetry, layered forms, and carefully chosen gemstones.
Handcrafted from sterling silver, bronze, and brass, the earrings feature green and pink tourmalines, dendritic agate, rutilated quartz, and pink spinel. Measuring 3.5 inches (85 mm) long by 1 inch (25 mm) wide, they create a dramatic silhouette while remaining remarkably lightweight at approximately 6.5 grams per earring. Sterling silver posts and backs provide comfortable wear for sensitive ears.
Each material was selected for its individual character and assembled by hand using traditional metalsmithing techniques. The result is a pair of contemporary statement earrings that celebrate craftsmanship, storytelling, and the expressive beauty of natural gemstones.
